Certified Diagnostic and Procedural Coding - Our certified coders examine the EMS billing and run sheets to accurately determine the proper medical, transportation, and modifier coding for all claims submissions. Insurance Claims and Patient Invoices - Claims are submitted by us, directly to insurance companies as well as private individuals. Payments are posted immediately upon receipt, and can be deposited as contracted with the EMS provider. Customized Reports - We have a system of reports in place that we can customize to suit your needs. Medicare/Medicaid Agreements - DPS provides the expertise necessary to formulate the appropriate contracts necessary to bill Medicare and Medicaid for EMS/ambulance transports. Collections of Past Due Billings - We diligently track all billings, and work towards recovering all payments that are due. We provide and administer patient installment plans, upon client approval. Billing Training and Support - We work directly with your EMS department to streamline any billing paperwork into your existing procedures. We can work with electronic billing sheets, to expedite billing. We will do whatever is necessary to make things easier for you. Initial Client Set-up - Even if you have never billed for your EMS services before, we have the appropriate systems already in place to easily start the billing process.
